AEW Dynamite #33 – Jacksonville, Florida – Daily’s Place – May 27, 2020

The show opened with the Inner Circle standing in the ring along with several boxes. Inside the boxes were “Inner Circle: Stadium Stampede Champions” t-shirts. They went outside to a semi-truck that was also filled with them. They wondered what they were going to do with all of them.

A promo aired with Matt Hardy and the Young Bucks getting ready to team, but the Young Bucks asked for a different version of Hardy.

The Young Bucks and Matt Hardy defeated Private Party and Joey Janela with a More Bang for your Buck.

After the match, Matt Hardy helped Marq Quen to the back. The Butcher and the Blade came out and attacked the Young Bucks. FTR drove up in their truck and after staring at the Young Bucks for a few seconds took out Butcher and Blade.

Jon Moxley came on commentary and explained that he wanted to see Brian Cage in action.

Brian Cage defeated Lee Johnson with a Drill Claw.

Taz said in a promo that Brian Cage would tear Moxley’s heart out at Fyter Fest.

Britt Baker used a detective connections board to explain that her injury was a conspiracy rather than just an accident. She claimed Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida, and Nyla Rose were conspirators, and that Aubree Edwards was the leader.

Orange Cassidy walked in on Alex Marvez interviewing Chris Jericho about the pep rally. Jericho yelled at him angrily.

Hikaru Shida defeated Christi Jaynes with the Falcon Arrow.

During the commercial break “Hangman” Adam Page and Kenny Omega were sitting on a couch in presumably their hotel room, drinking beer (Page) and milk (Omega). Page noticed the camera and stared into it.

Cody Rhodes said in a promo that the TNT Championship is an open challenge.

Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc defeated SCU after Penelope Ford prevented Frankie Kazarian from hitting the SCU Later.

In a promo MJF said he’s the number one contender so he shouldn’t have to win a battle royal. He claimed with Wardlow he would do it anyway.

Jungle Boy won the Battle Royal to become the Number One Contender for the TNT Championship.

Vicki Guerrero and some cheerleaders introduced the Inner Circle. Even though they lost at Double or Nothing, they tried to cheer each other up. Jake Hager read a poem to try to make Jericho happy, but it turned out to be creepy. Jericho said he truly wanted “Iron” Mike Tyson’s head on a platter and Sammy Guevara discovered that the cheese and Bubbly they were going to have had already been eaten. Mike Tyson entered and Jericho demanded an apology for knocking him out 10 years ago. When Tyson refused, the two tried to fight and ended up being separated by the entire locker room.

AEW Double Or Nothing Results

AEW Double or Nothing – Jacksonville, Florida – Daily’s Place – Saturday, May 23, 2020

BUY-IN: Best Friends defeated Private Party with Strong Zero to become the number 1 contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championship.

Brian Cage won the Casino Ladder Match after pushing Darby Allin out of the ring.

MJF defeated Jungle Boy with a modified European Clutch.

TNT Championship Tournament Final: Cody defeated Lance Archer with Cross Rhodes to become the first TNT Champion.

“Iron” Mike Tyson was there to present the championship belt to the winner and sat at ringside for the duration of the match. Arn Anderson pushed Archer off the top turnbuckle and got ejected. Jake Roberts was also ejected and returned with a snake, but Mike Tyson took his shirt off and stopped him from using it. The belt isn’t technically finished yet.

Kris Statlander defeated Penelope Ford with Big Bang Theory. 

Ford was a replacement for Britt Baker after Baker suffered an injury on AEW Dynamite.

Dustin Rhodes defeated Shawn Spears with a Final Reckoning.

Before the match, Shawn Spears came out and played Dustin’s music. He laughed and told the ref to start the count. Then Dustin’s music played again and Spears yelled at the production crew that they only had to play the song once, but then Dustin actually came out and beat him.

The next AEW event will be All Out on September 5.


No Disqualification, No Count-Out Match for the AEW Women’s Championship: Hikaru Shida defeated Nyla Rose with a running knee strike to become the new Women’s Champion.

The AEW announce team talked about the losses of Hana Kimura and Shad Gaspard and how it’s been hard for wrestlers.

AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley defeated Mr. Brodie Lee with a rear naked choke.

Moxley did a Paradigm Shift through the stage and went for a cover, but Lee kicked out at one. Moxley hit him a lot and got a two count, but still couldn’t get the win so he choked him out and retained his title.

Stadium Stampede Match: The Elite defeated the Inner Circle with One-Winged Angel off a camera platform.

The match included Hangman Adam Page entering on a horse and chasing Sammy Guevara through the building with it, Matt Hardy switching personalities after being held underwater, 100-yard rolling Northern Lights suplexes, and much, much more. We learned that Matt Hardy can hold his breath for about 5 and a half minutes.

AEW Double or Nothing 2020: Matches, card, start time, rumors, date, location, betting odds

AEW Double or Nothing takes place on Saturday, May 23rd from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The show was originally scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, but that was forced to change due to COVID-19.

The main show will begin at 8 PM ET. There will also be a Buy-In pre-show starting at 7:30 PM ET.

AEW World Championship – Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brodie Lee: Mr. Brodie revealed himself as the Exalted One and has since been attacking Moxley with the Dark Order constantly. Brodie and the Dark Order have since stolen the AEW Championship from Mox.

AEW TNT Championship – Cody vs. Lance Archer: This is the finals of the AEW TNT Championship tournament. Mike Tyson will present the title to the winner of this match.

AEW Women’s Championship, No DQ – Nyla Rose (c) vs. Hikaru Shida: Rose won the title from Riho in February, but this will only be her second title defense. Shida has been the #1 contender for months.

Stadium Stampede Match – Matt Hardy and Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson vs. The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz): This match will take place at TIAA Field, the Jaguars field, with the ring set up at the 50-yard-line and falls counting anywhere in Jacksonville.

Casino Ladder Match – Darby Allin, Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy, Rey Fenix, Scorpio Sky, Kip Sabian, Frankie Kazarian, Luchasaurus and ???: There will be a chip hung in the air in the middle of the ring and the person who retrieves it will earn a future title shot at the AEW World Championship. The match will take place under casino rules with two people starting a new entrant entering every 90 seconds. The match can end at any time.

MJF vs. Jungle Boy

Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs. Kris Statlander: This match is in limbo due to a possible injury that Britt sustained on AEW Dynamite.

Dustin Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears: Shawn Spears has claimed that Dustin Rhodes retired after his brutal loss to Lance Archer and laid out this challenge. Spears claims Dustin won’t show up.

AEW Dynamite #33 – Jacksonville, Florida – Daily’s Place – May 20, 2020

The show opened with the Inner Circle getting out of a really big limo and bragging that of course they’d ride fancy, as they were the Inner Circle. Then Chris Jericho said that what they did to Vanguard 1 was nothing compared to what they were going to do to the Elite.

Mr. Brodie came out with members of the Dark Order and had 10 take a knee. He talked about how even though people thought he couldn’t relate to them, he was just a man like everyone else.

Jon Moxley defeated 10 with a Paradigm Shift.

After the match, Moxley got some chairs and threatened to break 10’s arm unless Brodie Lee came out. Lee appeared on the screen and said he was leaving. After shutting 10’s arm in a chair, Moxley slammed another chair onto it and left.

MJF defeated Marko Stunt with Salt of the Earth.

Wardlow choked Stunt against a rope when the ref was distracted and held Stunt up after the match so MJF could punch him with the ring. Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy ran in to help him.

Arn Anderson and Jake “the snake” Roberts had a discussion about the upcoming match between Cody and Lance Archer. Jake threw the table and a bunch of referees came in before they could start fighting.

Darby Allin showed us a video of him going all in for the Casino Ladder Match.

The Bastard Pac cut a promo saying he won’t be forced to sit at home doing nothing and sent Rey Fenix to assassinate Orange Cassidy.

Rey Fenix defeated Orange Cassidy with a roll-up.

Orange Cassidy was doing great until Kip Sabian came out and sat on a ladder, distracting Orange Cassidy to give Fenix the win. Then SCU shoved Sabian off the ladder and some more guys from the Casino Ladder Match came and had a brawl.

Nyla Rose and Dr. Britt Baker defeated Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida with a Beast Bomb.

After the match, Nyla tried to put Shida through a table but Statlander made the save. Shida got some time to recover and superplexed Rose through the table instead.

Jon Moxley said in an interview with Alex Marvez that things would only get worse from here and that he would put Brodie Lee to sleep at Double or Nothing.

Shawn Spears cut a promo as the anchor of Shawn Spears Network (SSN) and reported that after his match with Lance Archer, Dustin Rhodes retired. Then he challenged Dustin to a match at Double or Nothing.

Matt Hardy defeated Sammy Guevara with a Twist of Fate.

The Young Bucks saved Kenny Omega after the Inner Circle tied him to a ringpost in the Daily’s Place football stadium. Matt Hardy ran in and then just disappeared for most of the brawl and Hangman Adam Page ran across the entire field to join in too.

AEW Dynamite #32 Results: May 13th, 2020

AEW Dynamite #32 – Jacksonville, Florida – Daily’s Place – May 13th, 2020

The show opened with Jake Roberts and Lance Archer coming to the ring. Jake Roberts came out because he was asked to apologize for his actions last week, but he said he would do so when Brandi Rhodes kissed his ass. He was then interrupted by Cody in his Nightmare Family Ford F-150 who revved his engine before driving into a barricade for some reason. Cody and Archer brawled for a bit before Roberts took Archer to the back.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Baretta) defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) when Chuck Taylor pinned Jungle Boy after an Awful Waffle.

Fenix attacked Orange Cassidy at ringside which then allowed MJF to attack Jungle Boy which lead to the finish. Wardlow then attacked Marko Stunt.

Jon Moxley arrived at the arena and refused an interview.

Hikaru Shida defeated Penelope Ford, Britt Baker, and Kris Statlander when Shida pinned Ford after a running knee. 

Hikaru Shida will face Nyla Rose at AEW Double or Nothing for the AEW Women’s Championship.

Sugar Dunkerton/Suge D/Pineapple Pete did a backstage promo and said that he was insulted by the Pineapple Pete nickname at first, but has learned to embrace it.

Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy defeated Santana & Ortiz when they hit a V-Trigger/Twist of Fate combo on Ortiz. 

Taz interviewed Darby Allin backstage and brought up amateur wrestling again, but Darby revealed that he was a high school amateur wrestler before he was a skateboard. He told Taz he didn’t want his help.

Hikaru Shida was being interview backstage when Nyla Rose interrupted her and caned her in the face.

MJF defeated Lee Johnson after submitting him with an armbar. 

After the match, MJF built up his match against Jungle Boy at Double or Nothing and revealed that he would be facing his Jurassic Express teammate Marko Stunt next week.

Chris Jericho defeated Pineapple Pete with the Judas Effect. 

After the match, Jericho cahlenged The Elite to a Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. Matt Hardy’s drone, Vanguard 1, flew down to accept the challenge. Jericho then destroyed Vanguard 1 with a baseball bat.

Brodie Lee defeated Christopher Daniels with the Discus Lariat. 

After the match, Jon Moxley came down through the stands to beat up members of the Dark Order. He didn’t get to Brodie Lee though who managed to escape with the AEW World Title. Mox then got on the microphone and said that he will not suffer disrespect and promised revenge on Brodie at Double or Nothing.



AEW Dynamite #31 Results: May 6th, 2020

AEW Dynamite #31 – Jacksonville, Florida – Daily’s Place – May 6th, 2020

This Dynamite was the first live show in a while, and Excalibur and Jim Ross returned to commentate alongside Tony Schiavone.

Cody defeated Joey Janela with a Cross Rhodes.

In an interview with Tony Schiavone, Nyla Rose shouted (once again) that she is and always will be the dominant force of the women’s division.

Nyla Rose defeated Kenzie Page with a Beast Bomb.

MJF said he was on the top of the ratings and that he’d be on the next Dynamite.

Shawn Spears said in an interview that Cody should’ve thrown in the towel for Dustin Rhodes and that Cody allowed his brother to get hurt.

MJF and Shawn Spears were complimenting each other at ringside when Tony Schiavone told MJF he’d be having a rematch with Jungle Boy at Double or Nothing.

Jon Moxley defeated Frankie Kazarian with a Paradigm Shift.

The Dark Order appeared after the match and beat down on Moxley until SCU came out, when they started beating down on Moxley and SCU. After Moxley was softened up enough for the Exalted One, Brodie Lee came out and challenged Moxley for the AEW World Championship, saying, “answer or we will make you”. Moxley answered with his usual courage, saying, “dude… all you had to do was ask”. Then Lee kicked him in the face, straightened his coat, and left.

Brandi Rhodes had a video segment telling Jake Roberts to keep her name out of his dirty mouth and that he didn’t know her.

Lance Archer defeated QT Marshall with the EBD Claw.

Britt Baker hit QT with her shoe during the match so Brandi grabbed it and threw it into the stands. After the match Britt attacked Brandi with a DDT and threw her into the ring with Lance Archer. Then Jake “the snake” Roberts came out with a real snake and put it on Brandi several times. As you can see from the post above, Brandi wasn’t afraid of the snake.

Taz interviewed Darby Allin backstage about his loss to Cody, saying he could help Darby if he needed it, but Darby refused to say anything.

Le Sex Gods (Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho) defeated Matt Hardy and Kenny Omega with help from Jake Hager and the Judas Effect.

Kenny Omega and Matt Hardy did many things during this street fight match, including Kenny moonsaulting off a raised scissor lift and Matt Hardy hitting Sammy Guevara with a golf cart. In the end, Jake Hager choked Omega out before Jericho hit the Judas Effect and pinned him.

AEW Dynamite Preview for May 6th, 2020

This week’s Dynamite comes from an undisclosed location and is the first show since last Dynamite on April 29th. This will be a live show rather than a taped one.

This will be Matt Hardy’s first match in AEW. He made his debut a few weeks ago but travel restrictions stopped him from having a match. That ends tonight with Hardy teaming up with Kenny Omega against Le Sex Gods (Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho) in a street fight.


Jon Moxley said he came to AEW to dominate, and that’s what he seems to have been doing so far. He’s never lost in singles competition and he’s demolished everyone who stepped up to the plate. Kenny Omega, Darby Allin, Joey Janela, Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Pac… he’s beat them all. Frankie Kazarian is definitely the underdog here in his first singles match in AEW.

Cody vs. Joey Janela announced for next week's AEW Dynamite

We’ve seen from Jon Moxley and Joey Janela’s unsanctioned match at Fyter Fest that Joey Janela is one of the toughest guys in the business. We’ve also seen from MJF’s stipulations that Cody underwent that he is also one of the toughest guys in the business. Cody said in an interview with Tony Schiavone that he views this match as a way to get ready for the TNT Championship match against the Murderhawk Monster Lance Archer. We will see these two guys step into a ring for the first time in just a few short hours.

NJPW Star Lance Archer Signs Multi-Year Deal With All Elite ...

Lance Archer and QT Marshall will face off tonight. Last week we saw Archer pinning the other half of the Natural Nightmares. Tonight we will see if Archer can defeat another member of the Nightmare Family in preparation for Double or Nothing on May 23.



AEW Dynamite #30 Results: April 29th, 2020

AEW Dynamite #30 – Undisclosed Location – April 29th, 2020

The show opened with a promo for Darby Allin vs. Cody.

Cody defeated Darby Allin with a roll-up.

At one point in the match, Britt Baker hit Cody with her shoe, Darby did the Cross Rhodes, and Cody did the coffin drop. At the end, Darby did the coffin drop, but Cody managed to roll over and pin him.

Another video aired continuing Scorpio Sky’s history. This one was about Scorpio Sky joining SCU.

Another report on MJF’s injury aired. MJF said his hangnail healed, however he nicked his neck while shaving and could not return.

Wardlow defeated Musa with an Airplane Spin.

In the third installation of the Bubbly Bunch, the Inner Circle agreed to disagree about who won the Flim Flam challenge. Chris Jericho called for a Manitoba Melee and a bunch of people starting fighting over video chat.

The Best Friends defeated Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian with an Awful Waffle on a pile of chairs.

At one point in the match, Orange Cassidy saved Chuck Taylor from being slammed onto a ladder. Kip Sabian pulled him down and held his arms behind his back so Penelope could kick Cassidy in the face, but Cassidy ducked and Ford kicked Sabian instead. Ford charged at Cassidy but Cassidy side-stepped and she slammed into Sabian. Then Cassidy went to the top rope and took them both out.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD had a role-model video segment where her makeup artist, named Rebel, was told to say a lot of good things about Baker. The whole time, Baker called Rebel “Reba”. Then Baker talked about people who can’t be role models, using Tony Schiavone as an example.

Shawn Spears defeated Baron Black with a Sharpshooter.

Marko Stunt said in an interview that a lot of people thought he didn’t belong, but that he wanted to prove himself.

Brodie Lee defeated Marko Stunt with a Powerbomb.

Jon Moxley talked about things he is grateful for by a graffiti-covered wall in the desert and promised to be at the next Dynamite. Of course, he reminded you not to forget to call your grandmother.

Lance Archer defeated Dustin Rhodes after Dustin was distracted by Cody considering throwing in the towel.

Dustin and Cody were arguing about the towel, and while Dustin was distracted Archer slammed his head against the mat many times.


AEW Dynamite #29 Results: April 22nd, 2020

AEW Dynamite #29 – Undisclosed Location – April 22, 2020

The show opened with Cody in a dark room with a computer and a game chair. He sat down and talked about his place among the other wrestlers competing for the TNT Championship.

Darby Allin defeated Sammy Guevara with the Last Supper pin.

Matt Hardy talked to Chris Jericho about the “Elite Deletion” and said that perhaps Demascus was too intense for the Maker of Pain and changed back to Matt Hardy. He talked about the Elite Deletion again in a more normal tone.

Kenny Omega defeated Alan Angels after 2 V-triggers.

A video about Scorpio Sky aired where he talked about how he almost quit wrestling and his problems in wrestling before he joined SCU.

Cody listened to a voicemail from Dustin Rhodes saying if Kip Sabian beat him he would retire.

Orange Cassidy defeated Jimmy Havoc with a pin.

Chuck Taylor pulled Penelope Ford away from the ring before she could change the outcome and she went into a split on the apron. Kip Sabian attacked Chuck and Trent, and Orange Cassidy pinned Havoc among the chaos.

A video aired with MJF explaining why he couldn’t come back to Dynamite yet. He acted like it was hard for him to say it, and then said he was suffering from a hangnail. He had his arm in a sling and a bandage around one of his fingers.

Wardlow defeated Lee Johnson with an Airplane Spin.

A video aired where Preston Vance applied to be in the Dark Order and was interviewed by Mr. Brodie. Mr. Brodie gave him a mask and welcomed him into the Dark Order.

Brodie Lee defeated Justin Law with a lariat.

After the match, Mr. Brodie stared Marko Stunt down.

The Best Friends challenged Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc to a no disqualifications, no countouts tag team match in a backstage interview.

In the second installation of the Bubbly Bunch, since Sammy Guevara was down about the Inner Circle’s recent losses, the rest of the Inner Circle had a Flim Flam competition. The winner would get a bottle of hand sanitizer. Chris Jericho got angry when Sammy won, calling him a show-off and throwing the hand sanitizer at his phone.

A video aired about Dustin Rhodes and Kip Sabian.

Dustin Rhodes defeated Kip Sabian with a Code Red.

Dustin took advantage of Sabian being distracted by a fight between Brandi Rhodes and Penelope Ford.

Lance Archer defeated Colt Cabana in the TNT Championship Semi-Finals match with a Blackout.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD defeated Cassandra Golden with a Curb Stomp while Golden was biting the rope.

The Inner Circle started a series called The Bubbly Bunch, where they talk and make fun of the Elite.

Sammy Guevara defeated Suge D with a Feast Your Eyes.

After the match, Sammy Guevara said he would beat the s*** out of Darby Allin in the next round of the TNT Championship Tournament. He beat down on Suge D until Darby came out and stopped him.

Kip Sabian defeated Chuck Taylor with help from Jimmy Havoc and Penelope Ford.

Shawn Spears defeated Justin Law with a C4.

Jon Moxley defeated Jake Hager with a Paradigm Shift onto a steel chair.

Next week includes Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara, Kip Sabian vs. Dustin Rhodes, Kenny Omega in action, and Orange Cassidy vs. Jimmy Havoc.
