AEW Dynamite #15 – Bash at the Beach Results: January 15, 2020

AEW Dynamite #15: Bash at the Beach– Miami, FL – Watsco Center – January 15, 2020

Kenny Omega & Hangman Adam Page defeated the Best Friends, Santana & Ortiz, and the Young Bucks when Adam Page pinned Chuck Taylor after a combination V-Trigger/Buckshot Lariat.

Right before the end of the match, Adam Page stole a tag from Matt Jackson which upset the Young Bucks. Adam Page argued with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega after the match. Adam Page and Kenny Omega will face SCU for the AEW World Tag Team Championship next week.

Cody came to the ring dressed in a Miami Vice themed suit to answer MJF’s challenge. He accepted all stipulations and will face Wardlow in AEW’s first ever steel cage match on February 19th in Atlanta.
MJF’s stipulations are:

    1. If Cody lays a finger on him between now and then the match is off forever.
    2. Cody must defeat Wardlow inside a steel cage.
    3. Cody will have to allow MJF to whip him with a belt 10 times.

Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida defeated Brandi Rhodes and Mel when Statlander pinned Mel with the Big Bang Theory.

In a segment paid for by the Dark Order, the Dark Order’s spokesman spoke to a character off screen (the Exalted One?) and the two discussed what wrestlers they are currently trying to recruit. Names mentioned were Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler, Kenny Omega, and Adam Page.

Jon Moxley defeated Sammy Guevera by submission.

The lights went out after the match and when they came back on the Inner Circle was in the ring. The Inner Circle proceeded to beat down Jon Moxley until Chris Jericho removed a spike from his jacket and stabbed Mox in the eye. Moxley was immediately attended to by medical professionals.

Jenn Sterger interviewed Chris Jericho backstage where he said that what happened was Moxley’s fault. He said that the same thing will happen to the Jurassic Express in their match next week on Dynamite.

MJF, the Butcher, and the Blade defeated Dustin Rhodes, QT Marshall, and Diamond Dallas Page when MJF rolled up QT Marshall.

63-year-old DDP hit a Diamond Cutter on MJF and then did a dive from the top rope to the outside on the Butcher and the Blade, but MJF was able to get QT in a pinning combination for the win.

Jenn Sterger attempted to interview SCU when a drunk Adam Page showed up and spilled a drink on Christopher Daniels. Kenny Omega came and apologized, saying they respect them and look forward to the match next week, but Page just kept saying he’d whoop their ass.

PAC defeated Darby Allin with a Black Arrow.

After the match, Tony Schiavone interviewed PAC who said that he was now the #1 contender thanks to Moxley’s injury. Mox then jumped out of the back of an ambulance and headed to the ring to say that he would fight PAC no matter what next week. The winner of PAC and Moxley will be the next challenger to Chris Jericho’s AEW Championship. Presumably that match will be at AEW Revolution.
